This exciting launch event marks the beginning of the pilot programme for an Improvement Community centring on early breastmilk for early babies. 

We hope to bring together perinatal teams from across the four nations to learn with and from each other, all striving to improve and sustain high rates of early maternal milk for preterm babies. 

NNAP data demonstrates we still have room for improvement in this important metric; whilst some units have made tremendous strides forward with maternal milk by day 2, we know many units are still challenged in achieving the improvements they strive so hard for.
