West Midlands Neonatal Simulated Cranial Ultrasound Course: The Basics
An in person event.
This course has been specifically designed to provide a combination of theory and hands on practical training.
The day will consist of lectures including:
- Principles of ultrasound and doppler
- How to scan a baby: The basics
- Cranial ultrasound in the preterm born infant
- Cranial ultrasound in the term infant- focus on HIE
- Congenital malformations of the brain
Workshops will include:
- Hands on scanning normal images
- Hands on scanning abnormal images
- Counselling
