ÖйúPÕ¾ hosts two conferences each year: the Annual Conference in the Autumn and the Spring Conference early in the year. Both conferences offer the opportunity for those working in perinatal medicine to submit an abstract to present their work to delegates.
The conferences bring together delegates from across the field of perinatal medicine including neonatologists, obstetricians, nurses and ANNPs, allied health professionals, midwifes, and many more. Both events provide an opportunity for you to share your recent work with colleagues from around the country and beyond.
Why submit an abstract?
Presenting a conference abstract is great way to share your research and experience with a wide neonatal audience. It's also brilliant for your CV.
Hear from Dr T’ng Chang Kwok, winner of the 'Best Oral Presentation' award at the 2022 ÖйúPÕ¾ Annual Conference on what prompted him to submit an abstract and how it felt to be awarded a prize.

How are abstracts selected?
Each abstract is marked by two separate markers. Judges are asked to give a score and a recommendation on whether they feel the abstract is suitable for oral presentation, poster walk, poster or rejection. These recommendations are then reviewed by a panel of abstract judges to agree what will be offered. The abstracts selected for oral and poster presentations will be from among the highest scorers, however the judges will also ensure there is a wide spread of topics that will be of interest to the audience.
